Summary

When Dianne, her sister, and brother-in-law moved into a 1960s fixer-upper in Bismarck, North Dakota, they expected broken pipes and peeling paint, not a full-time resident named Allen. From nose-to-nose encounters in the dark to a wildly misbehaving thermostat, Allen made his presence known with alarming consistency, and ultimately learned to live in peace with the lingering spirit who still watches over their tree-lined home.
