Summary
For a long time, the strange activity in the house was easy to dismiss. Footsteps upstairs. Toys moving around. The feeling that someone else was in the room. Creepy, sure—but manageable.
Then they saw the little boy.
Not a shadow. Not a vague figure in the corner of a room. A child. Running through the upstairs bedrooms while the family’s daughters were outside playing in the yard. After that, everything in the house started to feel different.
The shared closet between the girls’ bedrooms became the center of the activity. Toys appeared where no one had left them. Footsteps crossed the upstairs landing at all hours. And the family slowly began to wonder if whatever was in the house wasn’t trying to scare the children at all. Maybe it was trying to join them.
