Summary

Christmas is supposed to be a time for joy, comfort, and Mariah Carey. But for one woman spending the holiday in her childhood home—a late-1700s colonial with a haunted reputation—it became a night she’d never forget. Freshly divorced and feeling a bit like a lonely ornament tossed into a landfill, she returned to the house where she’d once danced around decking the halls for ghosts past. Only this year, one ghost decided to RSVP. While refilling an ice tray, she came face-to-face with a glowing Civil War soldier—full uniform, shadowed face, and just enough eerie charm to ruin your quiet nightcap. What did he want?
