I was Monday, June 17th, 30 years since O.J Simpson jumped in the backseat of

Al Collins, White Ford Bronco, and made a break for it,

or at least made a slow, slow speed attempt to get away with allegedly with a gun in his mouth. I remember saying at the time, there's no way OJ will ever pull the trigger. He was too much he was too much of a narcissist. He would never have killed himself. He thought he had a chance to beat the rap and he did, which is remarkable because during this chase, which was watched by tens of millions of people around the world, he essentially confessed to the killing.

Said he wanted to go join Nicole and called himself like an empty shell of the

the man he used to be.

But we all watched, we all knew at that moment that he did it, we all knew.

He murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, but he drove, he got out. He went for 60 miles like this going like 20 miles per hour and ended up back at his house where he was arrested for the murder of his former wife and her friend.

And the evidence was overwhelming.

He was obviously guilty.

He beat the rap because they got a bunch of morons on the jury and convinced them, you know, the system was rigged against this poor black guy who turned his back on the black community on his black family, on his black friends,

many of them just to be a star, to live in Brenwood, to play golf at Riviera.

That guy beat the rap, but he was found liable in a civil case the

Goldman's and the Browns are still trying to recoup some of the money now that

OJ is no longer with us but that was quite a day that was

quite a scene and I don't I remember exactly where I was watching this thinking well at least now we know he did it and we know he'll be going away for a long time

but didn't work out quite that way. 30.m. West Coast time.

They announced they were seeking murder charges

and he hit the road.

Now, I'll never understand why they just didn't get in front of the car, you know, just get in front of them, surround them.

There they are. We're looking at a, about, I don't know, seven or eight cruisers behind him, just cruising along.
