Happy Monday, happy Patriots day for those who celebrate it is marathon Monday in Boston,

Massachusetts. Ironhead and I we got to get this, we got to wrap this up quick. Ironhead,

we're heading out to Hopkins and we're going to run this sucker. You ready? I'm going

to be like, guy, that's going to have to change his underwear after like two minutes. Did

you carbo load last night? Did you have any past any pizza? I'm actually doing keto, so

I'm carb free. So this is going to make it tougher on those hills. But you know what, I used

to hate the marathon. I just, you know, caused traffic and I didn't care about, you know, all

the people who flew in from, you know, everywhere Ethiopia and Asia and Kenya and just one.

And I mean, who cares? I didn't really understand that I have to be honest. I didn't know how cool it was

because I mean, I was at the finish line for the winners a few times and it didn't really do

much for me. But the key to the marathon is go, go late and watch the people across in the

finish line at the four or five six hour mark and see some grandmother stagger across the

finish line and a grandkids run up to her and it's just, it's a great event in this city. You

just have to know, you know, what it's all about. It's not about the world class runners from Kenya.

I mean, good for them. They win. They get money. They get prizes and everything else. They get the

crown of thorns and the old soup and whatever. It's about the people who do it just to say they did,

you know, my wife did it a few years ago. I was at the finish line. She crossed. She was in great pain.

But man, she has bragging rights forever. It's quite an accomplishment. And I, I've come around.

I enjoy the hell out of it. It's a fun day. But also a kind of a solemn day being the 10 year

anniversary of the marathon bombing. That was one of the wildest, to me, one of the wildest few days.
