We don't want to say calmness for a few years. A senior writer at Sports Illustrated and

a radio host, a morning talk show host. We used to have an expression. People would ask,

who you're rooting for in the big game. And when you're in the media, you're not supposed

to root for one team or the other. You're not supposed to be a fanboy. The answer was

always, I'm rooting for the story. Or sometimes you'd say, I'm rooting for chaos. Because chaos

is a good story. If you're doing your job, if you're looking for a good story, if you're

serving your readers, your listeners, you're not just sitting there with the pom-poms out

rooting for one team or the other, which brings us to the situation in our nation's

capital. We can also get to the Dana White story and how ESPN is handling it. But the

thing going on in DC right now, obviously, it's interesting. We're watching the Republicans

revolt a handful, 20 of them, or even less, probably four or five that are really revolting

against Kevin McCarthy. They're doing it for all the right reasons. Is it chaos? My guess

is that your definition of chaos. They've had whatever it is, four or five votes. McCarthy

has yet to secure the 218 that he needs. They're going before the cameras, these dissidents,

Chippewaoy and Matt Gaetz and Lauren Beaubart, and they're explaining why they have a problem
