What's that got to do with the price of fish?

A question some attempted to ask when there's yet another

apparently abstruse argument at Westminster about Brexit.

Not so my guest, though, on this week's political thinking.

Farmer, Brexit pioneer and now agriculture minister George

Eustace, for whom the argument about our relationship with Europe

has everything to do with the price, not just a fish or

cheese, but of strawberries.

The strawberries grown on the farm,

its family have occupied in Cornwall for 400 years.

He chose a life away from the sweet smelling strawberries

and instead, one closer to the foul air of Westminster and politics.

George Eustace, mid in-dare, I'm tempted to say.

Get up and eat.

Are there times now?

Give it how tough politics is for anybody involved with it at the moment.

Well, occasionally I miss it.

I have to say, usually in the spring,

you kind of miss the point at which strawberries start to grow

and the buds start to break and the flowers start to come out
