1:01.0	by neglecting, rising issues of men's health, basically turning a blind eye to the way men have fallen behind in higher education.
1:02.5	So I guess what I would say is the way you frame the question is more like a sin of commission,
1:07.0	right, is more a kind of deliberate thing.
1:08.5	And I think it's much more an accumulated set of sins of
1:11.2	omission. I think it's the neglect and the failure to address what were obvious and growing
1:17.5	and real problems facing boys and men that has allowed them to deepen and fester in many cases.
1:22.9	Now, it's still a sin. A sin of omission is a sin as well as a sin of commission. But it's important
1:29.4	to the way I think about this not to immediately start with a sort of finger pointing, right?
1:35.0	Or to assume that it was somehow kind of deliberate. I think it was more, you know, so I think
1:39.4	it's more an act of neglect than of kind of malice, if I could put it that way.
1:45.0	Interesting. So this is something that drives my team here at Impact Theory crazy,
1:50.0	but I'm a big believer that you point fingers, you need to point fingers, not with malice, but so that you can understand.
