Whoa. Did you watch peacemaker? Because you have not answered my question. Did you watch peacemaker? Did you come on this podcast without having watched peacemaker? So we we did not record. We skipped an episode. So sorry about that. Um, you did not miss one. We just didn't record that during that cycle. So anyway, let's talk about peacemaker.

We can save it. I just want to make sure that you have actually watched that I'm on a podcast with someone a boy who is a, which is ostensibly about nerd culture and cool things happening in in this kind of space. And you've actually consumed some of that done. Ryan, you play horizon for Midwest. No, I'm not for that. Come on. I want to be. See the guy. Higgins will have at least bought it. Higgins is going to buy that. Okay. Okay. Um,

So I watched, I watched the first episode peacemaker. And I feel like you have not actually watched all the piece. Are you starting from the beginning? I feel I feel like my feelings about that show are like what Higgins feelings are about the Marvel movie.

He doesn't like. Like, you know how you're like, uh, guardian, too. I just can't. You don't like it because it's too funny or whatever.

I just did not click with me. This did not make me want to watch the first. Just keep watching it. Oh my God. I don't even have this conversation. This is one of the best super hero shows. This is up there with watchman.

Does it? Does it? Does it? The tone of it completely changed that first episode because the tone is not good in that first episode. The tone is not dark and funny and it's not good at all. I did not. I can't understand the words coming out of your mouth. They're so does alien language to my ears.

Uh, I, I definitely think that every episode you will like it more. The, the, the, not just the tone, but the, the, the, the humor. The character development. The characters get just better as it goes on because they start off very intentionally goofy and it builds from there. They, you kind of started the, they, they're the worst when they start because they have to then build up from there. Right.

Yeah, it's, it's pretty hard not to like not to like the characters. Are there, there's a lot of shows that aren't just the worst at the start because they have to develop character.

No, I mean, so spoilers for suicide squad. John Cena's character or peacemaker kills one of the main protagonists of the movie who you already really like. So he's starting off on really bad footing. Like you are going into the show, assuming that you think peacemaker is a complete.

POS and he, it, it, it is surprising how redemptive his arc is for someone like I don't know anything about any of these comic characters. This, this is a whole side of comics that is just completely unknown to me and I was totally on board for all of it.

Okay. Well, that, that first episode is not a great to me. It didn't seem like a great whole show.

I didn't come for your impression of the first episode. Welcome to what two months ago. Yeah, but it's got a hook you.

The hook is Higgins and I saying watch the show.

Just watch the show and tell us what the whole show in its entirety now that now he's just going to binge it like some weirdo.

Even though they already have this great model where it comes out once a week, you have something to look forward to some shining part of your life that isn't the darkness that the rest of it is.

Sometimes the show gets me and I'm like, yes, I'm right there like one division. I was like, when I watch that, I was like, yep, okay, this is great.

Well, this would have been good for you to talk about two months ago.

But back when the show started, now you just need to watch all of it and tell us what you think of the entire thing because it's very, very good.
