We're talking to you from the Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City have fallen into being typecast now, Gary.

They are the team that wins games late. You played in Manchester United Sides that did that and got a lot of reward, a lot of silverware for him.

Are we looking at the same kind of mentality here?

Absolutely.

I think that people say that winning games late on is a result of, say, for instance, endeavor.

And sometimes it is in desire and commitment to keep going.

But quite often it's a result of actually just the other team just not being able

to muster the energy as the game goes on and becoming weary and I think there was there was definitely

signs of that today with west down the possession that manchester kept obviously just wore them down

over a period of time and it became a real problem for west down they just sunk so deep they couldn't

get out and a counterattack

was difficult for them actually until they went to 2-1 then they did spring out a little

bit and we did say with probably about 17 minutes to go we thought West Ham

needed to be a little bit more bold if they could before City scored that second

goal because you could see it coming as we could last week at Huddersfield

obviously against Southampton exactly the same so it's been a good week for Manchester

City in the sense that they've they'll gain confidence they've had three wins nine

points they'll everyone will believe they would have won those three matches

West Ham Southam Southamton at home and Huddersfield away they've made it

difficult for themselves they haven't been at the best I I mean, today is probably the 45 minutes. The first 45 minutes is the worst I've seen them this season. Tieri-on-Risa at halftime. He didn't feel it was complacency. I absolutely was complacency. They came out and were nowhere near at it in terms of anything like. I felt confident enough to leave out two key players because they were on four yellow cards for start. Yeah, I mean, obviously, just that message of, obviously, Pep Guardio, I think make the right decision. It's something that Sri Likis Ferguson would have done 10, 15 years ago, would have looked ahead and made decisions based upon that. So I don't think anybody thought it was the wrong decision. But psychologically, it sends a message to the fans in the stadium, us, the players,

and thinking already about a bigger fish to fry next week, which is the Manchester Derby.
