podcast and we're delighted i think to have the opportunity to straight away dissect all the events that have happened at Anfield between Liverpool and Manchester United. Gary, where do we start?

Well, everything that you're expecting this fixture we had today, the sending's off, fantastic goals, the intensity, the recovery from Liverpool, and looking like they might get back into the game towards the end.

I think if you take the game in stage, you'd have to say the standout period football-wise

was the first half an hour from United.

I think it shocked everyone in the sense that I've not seen a Manchester United team.

Even when they were going for championships, come here and do that.

There was a 3-0 up, I think, 20 years, where Liverpool got back to 3-3.

But I don't think the football that was played in that game was as good as what we've seen here today because I was at the match.

And it was goals, but wasn't the performance.

The performance was absolutely fantastic.

It took Liverpool by surprise.
