At the start of those four matches, you thought, well, how many points would United pick up?

You may think if it was good, you might pick up seven.

They've got nine already.

So it's a

fantastic, fantastic three performances. Against Spurs, you were asking the question, Spurs

were poor that day, flaky. So you're thinking to yourself, well, is that the real deal?

Then to go to Anfield makes you really sit up because that is a tough place to play, no matter

how Liverpool play, or what point in the the season or what point in Liverpool's development

or United's development they're in. But then to come here today, especially after City

starting well and going a goal up, that's a proper performance they're putting out there today.

What did you like about the United performance now? Energy, passion. They knew they were going to win.

They just had that belief every one of them. The crowd knew it was a much different

atmosphere. That's something that went down though. And that starts. When they got back into

it, you could tell Citi dropped and that's when United really pressed at home and Michael

Carrick took over the running of the game. He dictated the whole thing from that point onwards.

And that was disappointing for Manchester City, of course. But to answer your question,

this is the best Manchester United performance I've seen since the glory days of Alex Ferguson.
