So I work full time as a child therapist.

I've worked with adults and children, but primarily with children.

So what made you getting into being a therapist?

You know, everyone had a struggling childhood

and went to school just to learn more about myself and to kind of help others who went through similar things to maybe avoid

continuing that cycle. Right. I can imagine as a therapist that's a lot right I can imagine as a therapist that's a lot to take on

emotionally especially when you do it for long periods of time like you just said

four years that's a lot what makes you continue doing it? The wins. Yeah. They're few and far between but I you know and I oversee that entire department so I see it's overseas several child clinicians and a lot of

them are new out of school and are just in the very beginning of that process of

finding where those soft spots are emotionally and it's a lot.

You get really shell-shocked by the reality of the world.

And not everyone has gone through horrible things, but it's pretty common and it's out there.
