football the supposed demise and and so on I'd like to broaden out also from

Scotland to to sort of the idea that if you have a population of 6 million

statistically sometimes it's difficult to have enough players of the right caliber

yes is that what's at the heart of the problem that Scotland is small

and that maybe Scotland was overachieving in the past or is there some kind of yeah

it is true because that I mean international football started with Scotland

The oldest international in in the book by a long way is in Scotland versus England and right up to

1982 I think near no no the late 80s Scotland were ahead in the series Scotland had beaten England more times in England had beaten Scotland.

And clearly given the fact that England has 10 times greater population, what that could
