game since 2016 i guess it was gregg covering football in december That's a little different for you of late, right?

It is.

And not only is it the first time North Carolina has played a game in late December since 2016.

North Carolina has not won a game in December since 2013.

So this is a big opportunity for North Carolina to kind of clear the plate a little bit.

And it's interesting, North Carolina, with there being so many bowls these days,

as long as you're halfway decent and you get to six and six, you're going to a bowl game.

And that's been the case for a number of years now.

And so I think a lot of players, when they arrive on campus and they're able to go to a

bowl game their first year, like Aaron Crawford, Nick Polino and Miles Dorn and those guys,

you kind of assume, this is cool, but we're going to be back.
