Jason, since you were in here first, I'll come to you.

Carolina's coming off a by week with a pretty big opponent coming into

Kenya Stadium on Saturday.

Does it matter at all for Carolina's purposes that Notre Dame might be perceived to be a little bit lesser of the normal Notre Dame team?

I don't think perception matters, no.

What matters is that they might not be as good as a normal Notre Dame team.

If that's actually the case, which so far the data this season and just watching them

on the field suggests that they've taken a little bit of a step back, then, yeah, that

matters.

But I don't think the perception matters all that much because that's not going to determine

what goes on on the field.
