1978 was the year everything fell apart.

Synodon's legal department swelled with lawyers.

They sought to annihilate synodon's critics in the media by inundating them with lawsuits.

The beatings of splitis and opponents increased too.

Synodon tried to open up an embassy in DC ostensibly to promote their charitable arm and found

they could no longer muscle people out and push them around as effectively as they had

in the old days.

The building they moved into had ten ends.

When synodon beat some of those tenets up, they sued synodon and won.

On October 9, 1978, Paul Morance found himself in a hurry.

As he rushed into his house to grab something, he noticed a strange shape in his mailbox.

While the medics loaded Morance into the ambulance, one of the attendants asked him,

where was the snake?

Paul said it was in his mailbox and that synodon had placed it there.

Check may not have ordered that hit, but synodon did, and check was synodon.

Just as synodon was checked.

The lawsuits piled up, and synodon for the first time in well over a decade began to lose

profitability.

And so synodon continued to shrink, selling properties, emerging businesses, losing

members.

Deidre consconced himself at the Badger Home base, drinking and losing his mind.
