Hey Scott, I'm a senior leader at a company that I joined about a year ago.

The division I lead has seen quarter over quarter growth and has quickly become the profit center

firm. About a month ago, my previous employer approached me with an attractive offer worth

almost double my current compensation package. I much prefer my current position.

I don't want to go back to my old job, but I'm wondering if you think it's wise to use their

offer as leverage in a salary negotiation or should I rely solely on my quantitative and

qualitative results of my job now or should I maybe use a combination of both?
