It's been a remarkable week in British politics and we've had so many questions come in

and I have since set up a podcast which explores all about jobs of the future and asking people where they think the future of our economy is going.

So that's a little bit of what we're going to explore today.

So the first question that we got in was from Sam, who asked,

what do you make of the appointment of Prisons Minister James Timpson as a non-career MP is no government

experience a help or a hindrance. Well it's a brilliant question I think I

speak for lots of people when I say on Friday night at 730

when the news dropped that James Timpson was going to be the new prisons

minister. It was something that not many people have been predicting or for that matter anyone

had been predicting. I think it's a very smart appointment he obviously came on

Jimmy's jobs to the future a few months ago and we spoke a lot about how his workforce is made

up of re-offenders. Timpsons employs six and a half thousand people across the UK

and one in nine of them are ex-offenders and James made the point that's just the ones they know

about because actually one in four men in Britain have a conviction which is above a
