coming up for the Reds, but potentially handsome things to come in the future with the League

Cup. Paul, I feel like every time we're going into another League Cup campaign, there's always

a bit of a conversation about, you know, priorities and things like that. Listen, Liverpool

have got far bigger priorities in the League Cup. I think that's always fair to say. It always feels like it's the lowest on the list of priorities. I don't know where you stand on the competition in general though and whether there's any need for sort of reform around it, I guess, because it's going to be low on the list of priorities for most of the big clubs ultimately.

I was thinking about this in advance of the show really is I've sort of over the last

couple of years grown to love the league cup more than the FA Cup.

I would say, and I think my reasons for that are quite often where the ties for when the final is. And the idea is when you're in title races and Champions League, races of

FA Cup semi-finals, going to Wembley or whatnot, doesn't feel that important but where the league

cup comes and you've sort of done the business quite easy and early if you if

you can catch a decent run of draws early in the competition you can almost

start find yourself in a in a semi-final without really thinking about that you've
