Over summer, I had the opportunity to speak at a podcasting conference in Dallas, Texas.

And while I was there, although it was a great conference at a blast, got to see a lot of people that I really enjoy in the podcasting space, I had something that was bothering me the entire

time it was there. And it was because of conversations that were happening, the conversations seemed to always go in a

direction that I didn't necessarily agree with or think that they should go in. And it's not

anything against any people that were there or the conversations or the conference or anything

like that. There was just something that was continuously bothering me.

And I didn't say anything about it at first.

And then finally, I was at a party and had a couple drinks, and that's when we get our

courage, right?

And I actually finally stood up and said what was bothering me to a group of people that was

around.

I said, you know what?

I've been listening to conversations, this entire event, and I consistently am hearing about downloads, about new tech,

about ways to streamline, about ways to do this and that and this, and like all the different

things, a way to get more exposure, way to do the whole thing faster, right?

And these things are all great, but at the end of the day, they're not the most important
