It's important to note that preaching at Bethel is unique, especially this specific podium,

because of the podcast reach and the Bethel TV reach.

And then there was a time where hundreds of visitors would come every weekend.

Trying to hold that back until we have a little bit more space.

But because of the reach of this house and because of the influence of this house, it's a unique

challenge to preach from this pulpit because we are preaching to a vast array of people

that have very different perspectives and views. They're from different cultures, different

backgrounds, have been brought up differently in the church, out of the church, or have never

heard of church. We have so many dimensions and colors and shade that it's just very fascinating.

So why did that make that challenging?

Because whoever's speaking, and in this case, it's obviously myself, I'm speaking from my

experience, my upbringing, my contact, what I've learned, what I've unlearned,

I'm speaking from a very specific worldview that I always say is mine, and it's something that I've been influenced,

uninfluent, and you guys get the whole picture. But why am I saying that? Is that it's important

that we invite the Holy Spirit into our own personal journeys. Because oftentimes we hear

things we don't agree with, don't like it doesn't make

sense or it's just bogus and we just reject everything in the process and i have i have to and i

feel compelled this morning to pray and ask the holy spirit to invite him into each of our lives

and everybody that's listening and watching this eventually that you invite
