The Future of McLean Bible Church

from Proverbs chapter 16 and First Kings, chapter 18.

I was having lunch with Lon a couple of weeks ago who faithfully

pastored this church for 37 years and I was so encouraged. Yeah, praise God for 37. And so I was just asking them all kinds of questions

about those 37 years, like ups and downs along the way and some people

here have been here for many of those years, some more than Lahn was.

I think about Betty Wright, who I was talking with recently. She, one of the five founding families

who came together and started NBC over 50 years ago.
