I'm Jeffrey Rosen, president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, and welcome

The National Constitution Center is the only institution in America, chartered by Congress, to

disseminate information about the U.S. Constitution on a nonpartisan basis.

And in this episode, we discuss what may be the most important

Supreme Court case involving political redistricting

of the decade, Gill versus Whitford, which was argued this past Tuesday.

Gill is a case about partisan gerrymandering, and the court is looking about whether that raises First Amendment issues

and issues of equality or whether courts are even equipped to adjudicate the issue

in the first place.

Joining us to discuss these absolutely fascinating

and important questions are two of America's

leading scholars of constitutional law.

Michael Morley is assistant professor of law at Barrow University.
