| 0:00.0 | Hey there, boys and girls. Welcome to another edition of the business of sports with Andrew Brandt. |
| 0:04.2 | This one is about fitness through the pandemic. I co-hosted along with my colleague at University of Miami, |
| 0:10.2 | a webinar that talked about what changes, what reactions the fitness world has had through the pandemic, |
| 0:17.4 | what they expect to continue as we move into the winter and colder months, |
| 0:23.7 | how we're going to approach the pandemic going forward. |
| 0:26.7 | So all these things we talked about in a webinar that I hosted this week. |
| 0:32.3 | So I wanted to post it as a podcast as well. |
| 0:35.6 | I'll introduce that in a second. |
| 0:37.1 | First, a rant. Just responding to some |
| 0:40.5 | narrative about Dak Prescott and that gruesome injury, and it was so unfortunate to see him |
| 0:45.4 | crying out there, bone-chilling injury. But let's just be clear about Dak Prescott. He's not going to be |
| 0:52.6 | heavily disadvantaged financially from this injury. |
| 0:56.5 | Now, I'm assuming, and I'm going to make an assumption here, and everything I've read goes |

| 1:04.3 | prevent him from playing in September of next year, 11 months from now. So with all that known, |
| 1:13.6 | I don't see any problem. I'm still bullish about the financial future of Dak Prescott. Because in February, he's going to be in the |
| 1:19.1 | same position that he was in last February. We had three choices. Do a deal with the Cowboys, |
| 1:26.9 | but obviously it takes two to tango. They've got |
| 1:28.9 | to meet his price, whatever his price is, and we don't know a lot about that negotiation. |
| 1:33.3 | That's number one. Number two, signed for the franchise tag, which he could do again next year, |
| 1:40.0 | 38 million. Combined with his 31 million would be 69 million over two. Compare that to Patrick |
| 1:47.0 | Mahomes, who's getting 63 million over three years. Dack would have 69 over two. That's a good deal. |
