Welcome back CEO teachers to another episode of the CEO Teacher podcast.

Today's interview is with one of my amazing CEO teachers herself, Danielle Mattis,

and you're going to love it.

I had no idea what direction this interview would take us.

I don't prep any materials for interviews,

except getting to know my students or getting to know the guest. I do a lot of research on the

back end. I find out about their business. I find out about their teachpreneur journey, but I let the

conversation go as it may. I am a talker, if you haven't already noticed, and I absolutely love

talking to people. I'm a people person. I waited at tables for eight years, and I really thought

it was my dream job. Like, that was my destiny, because I got to be around who I love most, and that's people.

So as I chatted with Danielle last week, this conversation

took a very needed turn in a direction that I am really excited to share with you today. You know,

I hope that it will help open your eyes, make your ears more able to listen and to fill your heart with gratitude and grace

for who we are becoming in the world today. Now, we do talk specifically about the United States

and our nation. However, I think that this episode is relevant to everyone all around the world. I know we have lots of listeners

from Canada and South Africa and Australia. So please listen to this conversation. We're going to

talk about the future of education as it stands in 2020, from virtual teaching to even getting

your master's degree in virtual teaching, which I didn't

even know was a thing. Plus, we're going to get into the world of a very deeply divided

nation when it comes to how we should approach our history and how we should teach it.
