Schultz, and this would be a bit of an unusual episode because I'm here with someone who many of you may not know, but you do know his work.

And I'm very excited to talk with him about the future of Commander and the future of EDA Trek.

I'm joined today by the one and only Don Minor, the creator, the founder of EDA Trek.

Hey there, Don. How you doing?

Hey, I'm great. Thanks for having me. Glad I could fill in for some guys. But yeah, happy to be here. Matt and Dana, who needs them? Who needs them? No, a lot of folks come to the show for, you know, discussion of the cards, for commander, for the gaffs. But they also come to the EDA Trek podcast for some behind the scenes info that you don't get from just like a cursory look over the pages of the EDH rec website. So I really wanted to lean into that with this episode to talk with you getting a peek behind the curtain, as it were. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. To talk about like the motivations, the ideals, the things that go into maintaining a deck building tool for a community of this size, because EDIHREC did kind of change the game for the magic landscape. And I wanted to talk with you about how the site has navigated such a shifting landscape as the game has been forced to evolve. So I hope everyone out there enjoys. I do got to say, a lot of people think that I'm the one who created the EdieHrek website.

So I'm losing a lot of social capital right now.

If it wasn't for Joey, I wouldn't have been able to do it.

So, so so yeah that's very

no man i mean joey we we originally you came on as the one of the first right the first class of

writers right yeah um so when we when we started the the writing stuff on edatric which in the

history of eadrech is not, is basically the same

length, you know, relatively speaking. So, um, Joey's been here since the beginning and, you know, a lot of the feedback that he gets and discussions he gets with the community gets fed back into the thing. So I don't know. I wouldn't downplay your importance too much, but. Thank you. That's very sweet. I was being a little
