How would you lay out your vision of where Bitcoin mining has come from and where it is going?

What's going to start happening is mining moving more and more towards the applications where

the energy is nearly free.

Bitcoin powered space heater.

This thing's actually mining Bitcoin, which generates heat.

It generates waste heat.

But you're making use of the waste heat to heat the

actual room. So there's an economic efficiency to be gained there. It becomes a lot more distributed

on the physical level, right? It's not thousands of machines at one place. It's one machine in every

room all around the country and all around the globe. So the level of effort necessary to try and censor or

outlaw Bitcoin mining becomes higher for government. All the energy that goes into heating. It's not

like Bitcoin mining is backed by less energy this way, right? Not at all. But at the same time,

in terms of the cost of the mining as a system becomes a lot lower.

So energy and money start to become closely identified.
