They tell it in a new book, already a New York Times bestseller and making waves around the English-speaking world.

It is The Future is Peace, a shared journey across the Holy Land.

And its authors are Aziz Abu-Sara and Maoz-In-on.

Thank you for having us.

The starting point for the book is grief. You were both

bereaved at different times, different periods. My Oz on October the 7th, as is during the first

interfaida. I thought it would be good for us to begin with each of you telling us first

about the people you lost.

When they were alive and with you, just tell us about them.

So my parents, Bill and Jacobi, were among the first victims of the Hamas attack.

They lived for the last 30 years in a Tiva, Sara, which is the nearest Israeli community to the Gaza border on the north side.

And their house was maybe 200 meters from the wall who was literally shading their home.

I was speaking to my father for the last time in 7.30 a.m. Saturday morning from my home,

where I'm speaking with you now in Binyamina.

And my father just shared that there is a war, that they can hear the shooting, the shouting,

the bombs, the sirens, and they lock the house and they are in the safe room.

I could hear my mom in the background.
