I'm Michelle. My name is Brian. We're the Bushways. We've been coming to Mosaic over 12 years. I found my zaic a friend invited me and the first time I heard Erwin speak he was just articulating things I've been

thinking about and just put language to thoughts and feelings and

understandings. I was like man this guy has something special going on.

I found mosaic when I was a sophomore at Pepperdine.

Yeah, I remember the first day we met I was serving on the welcome team

and I was just out front and as everyone was coming to church I was

shaking people's hands welcoming them in and here comes Michelle and she was

bringing a car full of other college women and I was wow, this is a woman who is like a leader.

She's bringing other people to this great place.

I gotta get to know her more.

I was pretty quickly attracted to Brian's energy.

I don't know, I always felt safe around Brian.

Serving our mosaic has changed us, simply because we never would have met.

And it was the basis of our relationship.

Our relationship was founded because we were serving other people

which then brought us together.

So it's been a value ever since day one in our relationship.

Just being a part of mosaic all this time has really pushed us to be really intentional.

It's always been not just about us and like our thing,

but we've always wanted our relationship to be about like how we can serve other people

and just be really intentional.

It's important for us to give to keep that muscle strong of gratitude.
