Welcome everyone to somewhere in the skies, and this is an interview we actually had to reschedule for very, very good reasons, but I'm so happy it's finally happening.

We're going to be talking all about the latest stuff going on in the UFO world in 2021, and we're going to be talking about his new book, which for once is not about UFOs.

So that's going to be exciting. It's about another topic that is near and dear to my heart, and that is pop punk in emo music. So I hope you'll learn out with us for that part of the conversation.

But first, let's talk UFOs with the one, the only Mike Timonte. How's it going, brother?

Great, man. Thanks again for being flexible and rescheduling. I got a ton of off air. It's always good to talk to you whether we're recording or not. It's always fun.

So I was enjoying the opportunity just to chat. Yeah, exactly didn't we got plenty to chat about. But, um, you know, elephant in the room. Let's talk about why we had to reschedule.

You just had your first child. How is it going over there, man? How is it being dad Mike Timonte?

Oh, it's the best. Like we were talking about off the air. Everything like stopped. It's like screw me by photos, screw everything else.

It's like I was describing it. What was I talking about? One of my friends and like, you know, when you watch a movie and like in the movie, like things got slow mo or like, if you're watching a superhero movie and there's like, or science fiction, there's like a rip in the timeline of Earth.

As soon as a baby comes out, that's what it felt like. It felt like the Earth like change. Like if you guys see just like, you know, the flash runs and like slowed up. That's what it felt like happened. It was a crazy feeling.

I think people who are into like, kind of like phenomenon and, you know, paranormal stuff. You know, it's it's a similar. I think it's a similar feeling like a game changing type of thing or literally feels like there's like a ripple in the world. Like it's crazy.

I guess we, you know, we've claimed a, you know, stumble upon, you know, different dimension or something. It kind of felt like that would feel like that.

Leave it to Mike Devote. I did a compare having a child to something paranormal or supernatural. I love it, brother.

Let's talk all about UFOs first if you don't mind. I don't think I've ever actually asked you this question.

It's kind of the origin question that I ask everyone, but I don't know if we ever discussed this.

What really got you into UFOs first and foremost? And is there one like kind of case that you came across that you continue to chase up until today or would consider your favorite?

Well, I think we talked about briefly before like how I got into it, but in terms of like actual case.

I mean, I think the main thing that really spearheaded my my re-interesting UFOs before I had my sighting and I actually started to invest in right on my own was when I read Communion.
