There was a report today from Randy Miller about Paul Skeens, who just won his first ever

Sai Young last night. He won rookie of the year last year.

Sa Young this year, he is the brightest young pitching star in the game.

Scubles is probably more consistent and a little bit better right now,

but he's been doing it for a little bit.

He's won his second consecutive Cy Young, and he's going to hit free agency next year,

where Paul Skeens won't hit free agency until after the 29 season, I think we said.

So he is under control for a long time.

But apparently, according to Randy Miller, that Paul Skeens, who clearly has to be unhappy with what's going on in Pittsburgh.

I mean, it's an embarrassment.

I know we have problems with the Yankee management, and they don't spend enough and blah, blah, blah, and I don't disagree.

And the TV money's different.

We all know all the different financial realities of Major League Baseball.

And that's why there might be very well a strike or a lockout or whatever's coming in a couple, you know, this time next year.

But the pirates are an absolute joke.
