Let's consider Proverbs 1, verses 1 through 7.

And as we go through these verses, I do want to make sure we all understand that change

really is constant.

We're experiencing even now the change in the seasons

where we transition from summer into autumn.

And soon from autumn into winter and from winter

into spring, life is a collection of seasons.

And because we are aware of change as a constant,

we must also understand that God is consistent

and that God is unchanging.

That His word for us today,

it remains the same when we think of the millennials when we

think of baby boomers or Gen Z or the Alpha generation or Gen X God's word is the

same and is applicable for every generation because he is the Lord he is immutable we have to understand

this because Jesus Christ came to establish a body of believers a community the

called out ones the church the Ecclesia we need the brick and the mortar to assemble ourselves together as the sons and the daughters of God.

But the emphasis is not on the brick and the mortar. The emphasis is on the life, the individual, the man, the woman, the boy, the girl.

God is all about building people building our lives and he has given us his word to do this

the dominant influencer in our lives should be the word of God not the culture not the not the opinions of people, not the status quo.

The dominant influence in our lives must be and it should be the Word of God.

And so everything that I share with us, I'm extracting from the Scripture, so that we have God's mind on the issue, the situation, the circumstance.
