Here's Grace to You, Bible teacher John MacArthur.

For over half a century I have stood here in the pulpit of Grace Community Church and spoken about the resurrection.

Not just on resurrection Sunday, but all through the years of life in this church.

We as a congregation have focused on the reality of the resurrection.

The resurrection for us is not once a year discussion.

It is a constant reality for us.

We live every day of our lives in light of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

At this time of year the world stops and recognizes the historical event of the resurrection.

Most people are content to accept the fact that maybe it happened, maybe it didn't,

but it seems to have some sentimental value to people and they don't want to argue whether or not it happened.

It kind of slides by as a recognized holiday.

But it seems to me as well that every year when we get to this point, the television begins to be filled with documentaries that are designed to question the resurrection.

That's not surprising.

I remember a few years ago when some supposed archaeologists and scholars and journalists said they had discovered the family tomb of Jesus and in it they found His bones.
