After a campaign of creative name-calling, Emmanuel

Marcon was elected President of France yesterday with 65% of the vote to Marine Le Pen's 35%. But right-wing

populism is hardly on the run. Macon's new party holds no seats in Parliament and Le Pen's

National Front did better than ever before. French voters made clear their

outrage about the economy, immigration, and a swelling number of refugees will look at the consequences

for France and the EU, with populist nationalism on the rise in Hungary, Poland, and elsewhere

in Europe. Later on today's talking point, anti-vaxers, and an outbreak of measles.

Minneapolis, the result in outbreak of measles among a vulnerable population. First is news

update. A former EPA scientific advisor tweeted last Friday,

today I was trumped. His message continues, I have had the pleasure of serving on the EPA

Board of Scientific Counselors, and my appointment was terminated today. The tweeter, Robert

Richardson, environmental economist at Michigan State.
