0:00.0	What's up everyone? Kevin from Epic Gardening here and we're back with Rob Greenfield. We're talking about two of his projects. I feel Rob, I feel like you have a million and one projects going on which is awesome.
0:13.2	Let's talk about it though. You have one called Gardens for Single Moms and then we'll
0:16.7	follow up with one called the Free Seed Project which I think most people are going to be
0:21.5	really really interested in just those three words right there, free seeds.
0:27.0	So first of all, let's start off with Gardens for Single Moms.
0:30.0	You hinted at it a little bit in one of the earlier episodes but could you
0:33.4	tell me a little bit more about what's going on with that? Yeah so the idea of
0:37.4	garden for single moms is extremely simple. Building gardens for single parent families and helping them to grow their own healthy food for their kids and then for themselves as well.
0:49.0	And I grew up with a single mom so they just have a special I just have a you know
0:56.5	personal heart connection to helping single moms you know that they're one of the it's one that single single-parents
1:05.0	parent families generally are one of the more struggling for resources,
1:10.5	demographics of people, and then of course children and so by being able to build
1:16.2	gardens for single parent families that generally is able to help people that
1:20.1	they can use the help and a lot of time it's just a matter of time you know a
1:24.0	single family single parents just don't have an abundance of time because they
1:30.3	don't have that that partnership partnership to split up the tasks.
1:34.6	So often they might want a garden, but just don't have the time or the resources to have that.
1:38.9	And that's where we come in is building that garden.
1:42.1	And the pilot program that we launched the idea was that we spent the first
1:46.4	like three months it ended up being more than three months with them teaching them
1:50.8	how to grow the food somewhat, a little bit on how to cook the food as well.
1:57.0	So it was more of an immersive project of really trying to get it going long-term sustainably so that's something that they could they could you know be really
