But Dan's not here this week for pretty, pretty good reason with the new addition to the family. So congrats to Dan. But it's me and Monty. Yeah, it's me and Monty here holding it down for the marvelous Monday crew. While, you know,

Dan gets used to being tied up at his home instead of, you know, two parents to one kid, two kids to two

parents. So best wishes to Dan as we get ready to record this one here.

And it's been some big money moves, Monty, that's been happening so far.

So today we just really wanted to talk about some of the big signings that have happened with Miles Garrett, Max Crosby, two names that were associated really closely amongst Packer fans about guys who they would

like the team to bring on to help with that edge rush, that pass rush.

Talk about those deals and how the Packers should pivot out of that.

So, Monty, do you want to discuss Miles Garrett, the man who reset the market or Max Crosby,

who set the market first before Miles Garrett got his contract.

Yeah, I think starting to talk about Max Crosby first makes sense because that was kind of one of

those players where there was never any real indication he was available, right?

But it was one of those, okay, the Raiders are going through, you know, they're a terrible

team kind of in disarray.

Then they hire a new coach.

And I kind of think once a team, you know, makes a head coaching change, like I find it hard

to believe that the team then wants to go say,

what if we also gave away our best player, right? So, like, have they not made a coaching change, you know, they're going with peak care, all that. So like, they're going to want to

keep Max Crosby around and they did. It'd just be one of those, right? Sure, if a team comes and says we'll give you three first round picks or whatever then you can't say no but so he got re-signed i know that was one that packer fans had

initially gotten excited about because you think okay well the raiders aren't close to contending
