I suspect a big deal inside the Democratic Party, the comments that Donna Brazil is making.

And I think on the one hand it should be, but on the other hand, we have to be very careful not to go into circular

firing squad mode and and not to you know these are cliches throw the baby out with the bathwater, whatever.

I mean, you know, to actually understand what happened.

The essence of what Donna Brazil is saying, and then I'm going to get into what right more is saying which is

you know the the contrast to the Democratic Party that just the craziness on the on the

in the Republican Party but anyhow the essence of what Donna Brazil is saying is that in traditional

campaigns when the incumbent is not up for re-election you know when Barack Obama was up for re-election in 2012

there was no doubt who was going to be on the ticket and so the Obama campaign

basically controlled the DNC.
