But I very rudely cut off Ryan last week because Ryan doesn't understand the moment. He just can't really like understand and read the room like when it's the time to pipe up and when it's the time to ruin Matt's outro. And so what we're going to do is we're going to allow you to do the intro because you had something you wanted to get into on 16 and 17, but I cut you off because I'm driving the ship.

something I wanted to add because you said, is there anything else anybody

wants to add? And so I just thought it was, when we look at Roman 16, it says, for the power,

for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes to the Jew first and also the

Greek. And that's one thing that I wanted to point out that the gospel was for everyone. And I wanted to allude back to what I talked about last week when the Gentiles came to visit Christ,

and they were talking to Philip and Andrew.

And that was the time when Christ was like, hey, this is the end of my journey.

This is, I know what we need to do.

And that was when the

he knew that he was going to save the gentiles as well you know that was god's plan from that was their plan from the beginning and so that's how powerful the gospel is is not only was it for the jew first but it's also for the gentile so it's for us and if you're uh if you're any of us at this table.'re all gentiles you know so it's just it's just

i thought a beautiful way to to look at the end of that and the text does say greek but you know

they're talking about gentiles so it's the yes it was true you know the the chosen uh people first

so the jentiles and so um anything go ahead. I NLTed that.

It was a new living translation.

I was reading. What does the NLT say? It says the Jew and the Gentile. Okay, yeah. ESV says Greek. And there's some other translations that say, but that's essentially what we're looking at there. Today we're going to get into our discussion by looking at verse 18. and so and guys again if you've been listening to this for any length of time, I mean, we spent an hour on a couple of verses, and there's still, there's still going to be meat left on the bone, even though we're going pretty slow. We're going to start with 18. So, Matt, if you can just read verse 18 for us. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

So a lot here right out of the gate.

So we go from verse 17, which is God's righteousness.

Now verse 18, we're going to God's wrath.
