That is Ryan. That's Derek. That's Eric guys. We are digging into first Timothy one. So we did

a Galatians and now we're moving on to first Timothy. So this is written by Paul as well.

The date of this letter was likely written between 62 and 64 AD according to my research.

And this is a letter from mentor to mentee. Okay. And so this is a very important way to kind of

look at this to look at how it's Paul communicating to somebody who is trying to to learn from him

and who he's basically trying to leave a legacy with so that he can continue spreading the gospel.

And then also it's it's kind of like a father and son thing as well because Paul looks at Timothy

as a son in a lot of ways and you can see that come throughout the letter. Now what we do know

about this letter is that it was a personal letter that was meant for Paul to send and for it to

be seen by Timothy's eyes. But you can see several other areas in the letter where it becomes

apparent that the letter is that Paul wanted this letter to be more widely, you know, utilized and he

wanted the message to be spread out. It wasn't just for Timothy's eyes only. And the the letter

addresses a lot of issues that were happening at the church and Ephesus at that time. And this is

considered one of the pastoral epistles. And so even in, you know, just this first chapter,

there's so much that we can get into. And I certainly have stuff that I want to get into,

but I wanted to kind of set it up for anybody else that wanted to say something about first
