eK has authored many books, but as far as Star Wars is concerned, she's given us

A Soka, Queen's Shadow, and the just released Queen's Peril.

A prequel last year's Queen's Shadow, Peril looks at a newly elected Queen Amadala in her early days as Nabu's monarchial ruler.

We get a thoughtful and very intimate look at the recruitment and development of her handmaidens

as we barrel towards the events in the Phantom Menace.

And now coming this Tuesday to wherever books are sold is Queen's Parole, a prequel to

last year's Queen's Shadow and the second book in what I hope fingers cross will be a
