Well, the Premier League dominated the rest of Europe in the transfer market once again spending 3 billion pounds.

Is there any sign of the mega money move slowing down?

Liverpool and Arsenal led the spending, but did the title contenders make the right moves?

Well, the transfer window is now closed, slammed shut lads, as they say.

And it's looking like the three billion pound window.

The Premier League has spent that money for the very first time, all 20 clubs together.

And that is the amount that is higher than the rest of the four top leagues combined.

What do we think this says about the Premier League, the power of it, and what do we put

it down to?

Well, before he started recording, so that's what the biggest transfer outside the Premier

League was. There's some of it was Victor Osseman, 75 million euros from Napolit's Galatasarite.

So that kind of shows you that the vast money spent in the Premier League.

I think it shows you that the Premier League, as we know, is like just the biggest league by far. It's so powerful now. You know, it's just like a vacuum cleaner. It just sucks up all the best players. Well, most of the best players, I think the very best one's still going to the Liga. But the volume, you know, Florian Verts. You've got Isak's staying in the Premier League. I mean, I could see your case coming to the Premier League. It's just where all the big players want to play.

It's the third time, Rob, in four years that the Premier League, the 20 Premier League clubs have spent more than the other four leagues combined. Do you think there's a sense of resentment, perhaps perhaps among those clubs across Europe that basically they just can't compete financially with the Premier League?

You think so.

I mean, if you look at, I don't know, La Liga, for example, they've obviously got two
