of willfully and knowingly making false statements to the FBI.

Flynn agreed to cooperate with the Special Counsel's investigation.

Flynn served as President Trump's national security advisor until he was forced to resign

in February 2017 over his communications with Russian Ambassador to the United States

Sergei Kisleyak. However, General Flynn had been working in foreign policy in Washington,

DC for more than 36 years, including 33 years of service in the United States Army and in 2012

he served President Barack Obama as the 18th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
