Hello, hello, and welcome to episode seven of the Flying V podcast. I'm your host, Vincent

0:24.3

Mercagliano of The Athletic, and I am greeting you all today from back in New York in my home

0:32.8

office right now. The team is at West, but I am back home. This is actually the first road trip

0:40.0

of the season that I am not along the ride for. My colleague from the athletic Peter Ball,

0:47.1

who you guys will hear from later on in this show, had raised his hand because he wanted to take

0:53.0

this trip. Some of you will remember he wanted to take this trip.

actually writing and I'm excited for these to start coming out in the next week or two,

1:45.3

some pretty fun lookbacks on Rangers history in honor of the centennial season.

1:52.2

I'm doing stories individually on each of the Stanley Cup winning teams for the franchise in

1:58.9

1928, 1933, and 1940. So if you're into the history

2:03.9

and maybe looking to learn some new stuff about the teams of the past and the original

2:07.9

Rangers and all that, I think you guys will hopefully enjoy those. I'll keep you posted on

2:12.7

the timing from all that. Also, today, kind of freshest on my mind in this moment, I am working on our

2:22.2

quarter season report. The Rangers have now played 21 out of 82 games, so that puts them right
