Hello, hello, and welcome to episode five of the Flying V podcast. I'm your host, Vincent

McCogliano of The Athletic, and I am back in the great state of New York. It was a long,

long trip out west, the longest of the season, both both for the team and myself nine total nights away

four games played bouncing back and forth between two different time zones so finally feel like

i've gotten my schedule a little bit back on track now that we are wednesday november 5th i

arrived home pretty late in the day

on Sunday due to some delays, but I won't waste your time complaining about that. I would just say

maybe avoid Newark Airport for now if you have the option. But now I am ready to roll and get

back into our weekly podcast. A quick little note at the very top of the show here.

I had a guest lined up who, due to some unforeseen circumstances, had to cancel kind of last second.

I was toying with what to do instead of that middle segment with the guest.

We're going to hear from he or she.

I won't call them out for canceling at this point, but we'll hear from them pretty soon.

I think we're going to reschedule in the next week or two.

But I was toying with how to fill that segment and bounce the idea off of my producer, Gray Kaplan, who many of you know about maybe

him coming on the show. But we ended up deciding that I've yet to do a full mailbag episode

since we started the Flying V podcast. And that was always one of our more popular episodes

with New Ice City. So that's what we're going to do this week. I asked you guys to submit some questions.

I saw a bunch of them flowing in before we started recording.

And so later on in the show, I'm going to take some time, a sizable chunk of time,

and try to answer as many of those questions as I can.
