I'm your host, Vincent McCogliano of the Athletic, and we are back getting ready to roll as the Olympics have concluded and the NHL season is getting ready to resume.

By the time you hear this podcast, some games will have been played. The Rangers will return to play on Thursday night against the Philadelphia Flyers at Madison Square Garden.

But of course, the hockey world is still buzzing. I'm still buzzing. I'm sure a lot of you are

about an unforgettable Olympic tournament. We talked last week about how exciting those games were.

At the time, we, I think, had just finished the quarterfinals when I last recorded or were still

in process, I believe. Actually, I remember recording before the U.S. game started because I wanted to

watch. And we were talking about the thrilling

game that Canada had played against Chequia earlier that day. Well, it kept going. It did not

disappoint at all from there. The U.S. had a thrilling game that day against Sweden. Overtime.
