Summary

To say Texas football has been through a roller coaster type of season would be an understatement. After the Longhorns dropped back-to-back games to TCU and Oklahoma to open the month of October, fourth-year head coach Tom Herman's chances to playing for a Big 12 title appeared to be all but over for the head coach and his team. But the three-game winning streak following the loss to OU helped steer the Longhorns back on course and has put Texas in position to potentially achieve its preseason goal of playing for a Big 12 championship. But it will take a near perfect performance down the final three-game stretch in order for the Longhorns to punch their ticket to Arlington for the 2020 Big 12 title game. On this week's episode of The Flagship Podcast, Horns247 columnist Chip Brown and managing editor Taylor Estes look ahead to the Longhorns' first of three games remaining on the schedule as Texas prepares to head to Lawrence, Kan. to take on the Jayhawks Saturday afternoon. The hosts weigh in on the latest news coming out of the bye week, including an injury report that could impact Saturday's game, and discuss some recent comments made my Herman after he was asked about his job security during his game week press conference. The Flagship then turns its focus to last week's Love it or Leave it topic posed to our valued listeners, and read off how some Texas fans are feeling as the Longhorns look to continue their late season turnaround. Chip and Taylor close the show with this week's edition of Love it or Leave it, with topics ranging from if Texas will change recent history and actually cover the spread against Kansas to predicting this year's Bedlam series in a game that could ultimate impact the Big 12 title race.  Catch all of that and much more on this week's episode of The Flagship Podcast.
