Taylor Estes. Taylor, it is National Signing Day. And I don't know. It could just be me. But that

five and seven season feels a little further in the rear view mirror.

And it feels like there is momentum in the Texas Longhorns football program.

There is.

Yeah, Chip, I totally agree with you.

I mean, the five and seven season feels like it was probably over a month ago.

And it was just a few weeks ago that Texas wrapped that up.

But, you know, Texas obviously did not allow, you know, the struggles that they had on the field this season to really impact their recruiting pitch of what, you know, the coaches can really sell for the

future of Texas football. And it definitely paid off on day one of the early signing period.

You know, guys still have a few more days until I think Friday that they technically could sign

in Steve Sarkesian and talking to him today, which is Wednesday, following, you know, the

first influx of signees that came in on early signing day,

he kind of hinted that there still may be some more on the table. And, you know, as we record this,

it's 6.15 p.m. on Wednesday, Texas currently sits with the number five ranked recruiting class

in 24-7 sports composite.

And if you would have told me that, honestly, at the end of that five-and-seven season,

you know, especially during that five-game losing streak that Texas had,

I probably would have said that you're crazy or six-game losing streak.
