Summary

Texas basketball may have found a way to claw out a spot in the NCAA Tournament after the Longhorns have posted five-straight wins, including most recently against Oklahoma. But Texas hoops is far from the only program that's turning heads right now on the Forty Acres. On another playing field, Texas baseball has been impressive to start the year with the young roster at hand, but the best story on the diamond is the domination of Texas softball, which took down the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams last weekend with wins over top-ranked UCLA and second place ranked Washington. The Longhorns' wins pushed Texas into the No. 1 spot in SoftbalAmerica's latest poll.
