I'm, you know, I'm trying to find the silver linings, I guess.

I was at that Texas, Kansas State basketball game on Tuesday night.

Who were you hanging out with in that?

I'm curious.

Well, yeah, I was going to say the silver lining ended up being Gary Patterson, who was in a suite

with Chris Delcante, the athletic director at Texas and Gary Patterson's

former athletic director at TCU, as well as volleyball coach Jared Elliott and his new assistant

coach, Jordan Larson, who's like the most decorated volleyball outside hitter ever.

Shocker, Jared Elliott recruits like nobody's business.

But yeah, I mean, the highlight, Taylor, was getting to talk to Gary Patterson a little bit because it sure wasn't that basketball game.

But we have, we got a lot of football going on.

I mean, the players are back on campus.

They're going through winter offseason conditioning.

That started on Tuesday after MLK Day.

Tuesdays when classes for the spring semester started.

So all those early enrollees you and I talked about last week, like Quinn Ewers and all those defensive backs like Brian Allen, Terrence Brooks, Savian Bryce, Jalen Gilbo, Ryan Watts.
